Biography

Amycus Carrow was born in Galway, Ireland, the 23th of August in 1960, to Sean Carrow and Evanthe Carrow (neé Yaxley), and a twin to Alecto Carrow, his sister.Amycus started his education at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry at the age of 11, in 1972.
He was sorted into Slytherin and shared a room with Theodore Nott and other slytherin students at the time.

During second year, he joined the Duelling Club and briefly played Quidditch in the position of beater; But it didn't last, as his behavior on the pitt was agressive and unsportsmanlike. Halfway through the season, he was invited to leave the team.At fourth year Amycus and Alecto participated in an exchange student program coordinated between Hogwarts and Beauxbatons. They lived in the castle grounds and stayed there during winter break as well as spring break, before returning home at the end of the year.The same students returned to Hogwarts next year. At the end, the Carrows invited some french students into their italian summer home. The experience was pleasant enough, but it didn't repeat next year, with Amycus deciding to focus on school and other activities.

Friends, cliques and relationships.

Even before they had even been born, Alecto and Amycus have always been together. As children, they had been inseparable, with others having a hard time telling them apart. Even now, at Hogwarts, people tend to joke about their co-dependence—and there might be some truth to that. There is an unwavering loyalty than runs through the twins, and Amycus swears he would set the world on fire for his sister if only to keep her warm.The Nott siblings are particulary close to Amycus, since they are distant cousins of the family and grew up together, often meeting at family gatherings, events, galas and such. In Helena, someone he consideres like-minded, Amycus has found a partner in crime. Meanwhile, Theodore seems to posess a softer side that Amycus almost protects and cares for—in his own, twisted way.Dorcas Mewadows is a strange, unlikely addition to Amycus' exclusive circle. The witch, a half-blood, couldn't be more dissimilar to the slytherin crew he oftens hangs out with. While he is private, positively apathetic and downright brazen, she seems to be quite the opposite: Honest, earnest and empathetic to a fault.
